History
It was a long cherished dream of the Congregation to establish a house in the capital city of Kerala. The then administration of the congregation brought some land and a house nearby the Government Engineering College, Thiruvananthapuram. The house was formally inaugurated on 22nd July 1982. The Archbishop of Changanaserry, His Grace Mar Joseph Powathil blessed and inaugurated the new Church and the building for the Emmaus Centre on 21st March 1992.  His Grace consented to the formation of a quasi parish here. Emmaus Youth Centre was established in 1992. The first and second floors of the Emmaus Centre were constructed in 2002.The quasi parish was raised to the status of parish on 20th May, 2004. At present this parish has become one of the leading parishes in the city, and it is flourishing day by day with more than 230 families.
